This class is for skilled workers (not trades persons) and foreign graduates who have lawfully gained Canadian work experience under NOC skills type/level 0, A or B and want to stay in Canada permanently.
How to apply?
This program is processed through the express entry online application management system. To get started, first check whether you meet the minimum requirements, and then create and submit an Express Entry profile. You will be ranked in the Express Entry pool using a post-based system called Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). IRCC will regularly send invitations to the candidates with the highest scores in the pool to apply for permanent residence.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Point System | Earn maximum points on the 1200 points comprehensive ranking system (CRS). Points are differently distributed for single and married individuals. Factors include Core human capital (460-500 points), Spouse/Common-law (40 points), Skills transferability (100 points), and additional factors that include provincial nomination and arranged employment among others (600 points). |

Language | Earn CLB/NCLC 7 if your experience is in NOC skills type/level 0 or A, or CLB 5 if your occupation is in NOC skills type/level B. |
Experience | Must have 1 year Canadian (including Québec) work experience in NOC skills type/Level 0, A, or B in the last 3 years (either combination of full-time or part-time work), lawfully obtained. Work experience while studying in Canada, self-employment and asylum seekers experiences are not accepted. |
Job Offer | A job offer is not required. |
Education | Education is not required. However, you will earn additional points with post-secondary education. |
Settlement Funds | A settlement fund is not required. |
