This program is for international students with a job offer in a skilled occupation at NOC skill type 0 or Skill level A or B in Ontario. This is open to international students both inside and outside of Canada.
How to apply?
This stream works under an Expression of Interest System; you must register and express your interest in this program to get an invitation. To get started, you must create a profile in the OINP e-Filing Portal and register an expression of interest for the Employer Job Offer: International Student stream. You will then receive an invitation to apply for a nomination. Once you receive OINP nomination letter and certificate, you can then apply to IRCC for your permanent residence.
|Job Offer||Must have a full-time and permanent Ontario job offer in eligible occupations in Ontario at NOC Skill type 0 or Skill Levels A or B. If your occupation job offer requires mandatory license/authorizations, you must have them. The job offer must pay higher than the low wage level. If you are already working, the wage must be equal to or above the low wage level.|
|Education||2 years degree or diploma, 1-year degree or diploma if you have another degree. A certificate program, regardless of the duration, still requires a prior degree completion.|
|Other||Application Period: Apply within 2 years of degree completion. Urgent job: the job must be urgently needed by the business.|
