Programme de l’expérience québécoise (PEQ – Québec experience program) – Temporary foreign workers

To be eligible under this program you must be currently working in Québec as a trained and skilled professional and willing to continue working in Québec permanently and integrate into the Québec society.

 How to apply?

Create an account on the Arrima platform which is an expression of interest system for skilled workers who want to settle in the province of Québec. Similar to the IRCC Express Entry system, Arrima is also based on points. You will be placed in the EOI pool (or bank) until you are invited to apply for permanent residence based on your potential for integration and meeting the needs of the province of Québec.

LanguageNCLC level 7 in the French language. Your wife must have NCLC level 4.
Experience You must be working in NOC type/level 0, A or B for at least 2 years (24 months) during the last 3 years (36 months) before the application. Work must be full-time (30+ hours a week), part-time is not allowed. Non-continues is allowed if the work was full-time.
Job OfferYou must be already in Québec on a “Working Holiday”, “Young Professionals” or “International Co-op Internship” to apply.
Education 
Settlement FundsQuébec Settlement fund required. Must be able to support yourself and dependent family members and sign the contract “Financial Self-Sufficiency Contract – Skilled Workers, Entrepreneurs and Self-Employed Workers”.
OthersAge: 18 years or above.
