This program will invite qualified candidates with a Federal Express Entry profile to apply for nomination for permanent residence in Alberta.
How to apply? It is connected with the federal express entry system. Alberta will send a notification of interest (NOI) letter to candidates in their Express Entry profile and request them to apply.

| IRCC Point System | Express EntryYou must qualify under – Federal Skilled Worker Program, or Federal Skilled Trades Program or Canadian Experience Class to receive Notification of Interest (NOI). | 
| Pass score | Must obtain a minimum of 300 scores in the Federal comprehensive ranking system. You must get a passing score of 67/100 in the selection criteria if you are applying under Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP). | 
| Language | As required under the IRCC express entry program, please refer to FSWP, FSTP, or CEC for details. | 
| Experience | It will increase your likelihood to be nominated if you have Alberta’s work experience. | 
| Job Offer | It will increase your likelihood to be nominated if you have an Alberta job offer. | 
| Education | As required under IRCC express entry. Please refer to FSWP, FSTP, or CEC for details. It will increase your likelihood of nomination if you have Canadian post-graduate education. | 
| Settlement Funds | LICO as required under IRCC express entry. Please refer to FSWP, FSTP, or CEC for details. | 
| Others | It will increase your likelihood to be nominated if you have close family members in Alberta such as a parent, child, brother, or sister who are PR or Canadian citizens. |
