This program is for you if you want to immigrate to BC through investment and actively manage a valid business in BC.
How to apply?
Create BCPNP online account and complete the application forms and other reports such as net worth verification report. You will receive scores, and only the highest-scoring registrants will be invited to submit a full application to the BC PNP. If your selection (interview) was successful, you will be asked to sign a performance agreement. You will arrive in Canada with a work permit to start implementing your business. After a successful assessment of the business, you will be issued a confirmation of nomination as a provincial nominee, and then you will need to apply to IRCC for permanent residence.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
| Point System | A total of 200 points in the following sections; self-declared section (120 points), Business concept (80 points). |
| Pass score | Must obtain a minimum of 32 points out of 80 in the business concept section. |
| Language | At least CLB 4 in English or French. |
| Experience | Within the last 10 years, you must have either 3+ years as a business owner-manager, or 4+ years as a senior manager, or a combination of 1+ years of experience as a business owner-manager and 2+ years as a senior manager. |
| Education | Must have either a high school education or above, OR, at least 3 years of own active business owner-manager experience in the last 5 years. |
| Others | Networth: At least $600,000.Investment: Minimum of $200,000. A business Proposal is required for both creation of a new business or buying an existing one in BC. Job creation: Create at least 1 full-time job. Ownership percentage: at least one-third or 33.33% of the total. |
