This program is for recent graduates of a Nova Scotia university/community college who are already operating their own businesses in Nova scotia for at least 1 year.
How to apply? Complete an expression of interest and receive an invitation. Once invited to apply, you will be asked to appear in an in-person interview and receive a nomination when you will need to submit all forms and support documents. Once your application is approved, you will receive a nomination certification which you will need to submit to IRCC for permanent residence.

Provincial Point System | International Graduate Entrepreneur Points Grid – Expression of Interest. This includes language (1st official language 28 points, 2nd language 7 points), education (25 points), Work experience (15 points), Adaptability (10 points), Age (10 points), Nova Scotia Economic Priorities (5 points). |
Language | Minimum CLB/NCLC 7 in either English or French. |
Experience | Must be owning and running his/her own eligible business (minimum of 33.33%) in Nova Scotia for at least 1 year. |
Education | 2 years of post-secondary degree or diploma from a Nova Scotia university/community college in-person studies. Must have a valid post-graduation work permit. |
Settlement Funds | Must be receiving salary or compensation from the business above the federal low-income cut-off (LICO) level. |
Processing Time | Your business must be paying you a salary, which must be at least equal to the federal LICO. |
Others | Age: must be at least 21 years of age. |
