This subcategory is for high-skilled technology and innovation sector workers who have a job offer from a Saskatchewan employer in these specific sectors. Only the following 17 NOC occupations are allowed under this program:

22220 Computer network and web technicians
22221 User support technicians
22222 Information systems testing technicians
How to apply? Once you get a job offer with a job approval letter from the SINP, create an online account with SINP, complete the required fields, scan and upload the required documents and submit the application.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS | |
Language | Must have a minimum of CLB 5 in English/French if you are not working for the employer who is offering a job offer. If you are currently working for an employer who is extending a job offer, they must meet the employer’s language requirements. |
Experience | If you are in Saskatchewan, you should have at least 6 months of full-time work(30+hrs/week) experience for the employer who is extending you a job offer. If you have a job offer from a different employer who is not your current employer, in this case, you must have 1-year work experience earned in the last 5 years. Both internal and overseas applicants should have at least 1-year high-skilled and relevant work experience in the last 5 years. |
Job Offer | Must have a permanent and full-time SINP approved job offer from a Saskatchewan employer. This offer can only be in the technology or innovation sectors. |
Education | Must have completed post-secondary education (Master’s, Bachelors, etc.) in job-related areas, or ECA if education is completed abroad. |
Other | Specific NOCs listed following must receive a license from APEGS (the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan): NOC 21311 – Computer Engineers (except software engineers and designers), NOC 21231 – Software Engineers and Designers, NOC 21211 – Data Scientists and NOC 21310 – Electrical and Electronics Engineers |
