This program is intended for international skilled workers whose skills and trainings are aligned with Manitoba’s in-demand occupations.
How to apply?
Create a government of Manitoba account and submit an expression of interest. You will be ranked and placed in the qualified candidates’ pool for 12 months. Highest scoring qualified candidates with a connection to Manitoba will be sent Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) to submit a full Manitoba PNP application. If your application was successful, you will be nominated and asked to submit a permanent residence visa application to IRCC’s Centralized Intake Office (CIO).

Pass score | Applicants must score 60 on the assessment grid. |
Language | You must have either of the following language proficiency depending on your NOC. Minimum CLB/NCLC 7 for Regulated Occupation, minimum CLB/NCLC 6 for Compulsory Trades, OR minimum CLB/NCLC 5 for all other NOC 0, A, or B occupations |
Experience | Experience is not required, but if you want to score higher, you must have a minimum of 1-year work experience to obtain a minimum score. |
Education | At least 1 year of post-secondary education or ECA. If a license or certification is required for the job, you must apply for that as well. |
Settlement Funds | 6 months of settlement fund required based on federal LICO. |
Others | Adaptability: You must demonstrate the ability and intent to become economically established and reside in Manitoba, AND Confirmed support of a close relative who has resided in Manitoba for at least one year; OR Previous post-secondary education completed in Manitoba within the past five years; OR Previous work experience in Manitoba within the past five years; OR a valid Invitation to Apply issued by the MPNP. Additional marks are awarded for wife/partner’s bachelor’s degree and CLB/NCLC 5. Age: Minimum of 18 years at the time of submission. Though there is no maximum limit, points are not awarded for over 45 years. |
