Nova Scotia Immigration – Entrepreneur 2023

This program is for business owners or senior business managers who want to buy an existing business or create a new business in Nova Scotia. After you operate your business for 1 year, you will be able to apply for nomination.

How to apply? Complete an expression of interest in one sitting (because you can’t resume the EOI later), and receive scores based on the Entrepreneur Points Grid. If you were selected, you will be invited to send your application for the Entrepreneur Stream where you will need to submit all application forms and supporting documents. If you were eligible, you will be asked for an interview and then sign a Business Performance Agreement. If successful, you will receive an Entrepreneur Approval Letter and instructions to apply for a Work Permit to IRCC. If your WP application was approved, you will need to arrive within 12 months and start your business in the next 6 months. After you operate your business for at least 1 year and followed the Business Performance Agreement, you can then send a request for nomination. If you were nominated, you will need to apply to IRCC-Centralized Intake Office for permanent residence.
